Michael Bühler-Rose

Michael Bühler-Rose (Brahma Muhurta Dasa), received a Fulbright
Fellowship to India and obtained his BFA (2005) from the School of the
Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University. At present, he is a Graduate Alumni Fellow at the
University of Florida (MFA, 2008) and a critic at the Rhode Island School of
Design. His area of research and interest is the transportation of culture
with a particular emphasis on Gaudiya Vaisnava rituals. He has spent a
number of years as a researcher for the Sri Rupanuga Paramarthika Vidyapitha
in Mayapur, West Bengal where he edited curriculum on puja for their
gurukula. He has traveled around India and the Americas teaching and
performing ceremonies from deity installations/temple openings to weddings
and last rites. He is also an accomplished artist who has been collected, exhibited, and
published internationally.
